Balloon's Paradise · San Martin de las Piramides
Balloon's Paradise sells a single package: transport from Reforma, a balloon flight, coffee and breakfast, with time at the pyramids. Read the safety section first: the company has been in the news twice since 2025, and you should check its current AFAC permit before you book.

There's one option on this listing, so the $204 covers everything it lists: the balloon flight, coffee or tea, breakfast and what the listing calls "public transportation" (shared transport) from Reforma. Pickup is at the Angel of Independence roundabout in front of the Sheraton, by the Reforma-Rio Tiber Ecobici station. The pyramid entry is extra; the listing says "7 USD", but the official fee is 210 MXN for foreign visitors in 2026. Alcohol and tips are extra, and people weighing 100 to 120 kg pay 500 MXN.
Now the part you should read. On 28 May 2025, state inspectors suspended 9 of 18 balloon companies at Teotihuacan for missing paperwork, and the list published by SDP Noticias includes "Ballons Paradise". On 21 April 2026, news reports say a Balloons Paradise balloon ran out of fuel and made an emergency landing about 200 metres from the Pyramid of the Sun; nobody was hurt, and AFAC, the civil aviation agency, said it would sanction the company (Posta, El Financiero). We found no public report on the outcome. The listing was still on sale on Viator in October 2026.
What that means for you: ask Balloon's Paradise for its current AFAC operating permit and the registration of the balloon you'll fly, and compare it with AFAC's register of balloons. Reviews visible on Viator are few. One, from February 2026, describes overselling: a guest who paid for the first departure tier was moved to a 5:40 a.m. pickup and an 8:30 flight, which was then cancelled for wind. If you'd rather avoid the question, the most reviewed flight costs less.
At the Angel roundabout in front of the Sheraton. Later departure tiers pick up later; a guest on tier 3 was collected at 5:40.
Shared transport to San Martin de las Piramides, then coffee and check-in.
Departures go in tiers. Later tiers fly later and are more exposed to wind cancellations.
Breakfast is in the price.
Time in the zone; the ticket is extra. The listing gives about 7 hours for the whole trip.
★★★★★We had a great experience with unforgettable memories. The personal attention throughout this event was exceptional. A highly recommend Ballon's Paradise!

News reports say so. A company listed as "Ballons Paradise" was among 9 suspended for missing paperwork in May 2025 (SDP Noticias), and in April 2026 AFAC said it would sanction Balloons Paradise after a balloon ran out of fuel and landed near the Pyramid of the Sun (Posta). We found no report of the outcome. Ask the operator for its current AFAC permit.
The flight, coffee or tea, breakfast and shared transport from Reforma. Not the zone ticket, alcohol, tips, or the 500 MXN weight fee for 100 to 120 kg.
At the Angel of Independence roundabout on Paseo de la Reforma, in front of the Sheraton hotel, by the Reforma-Rio Tiber Ecobici station.
Ask the company for its AFAC operating permit and the registration mark painted on the balloon, then compare them with AFAC's register of balloons. Our post on balloon safety in 2026 walks through it.
